Education has played an important part in the life of Stony Stratford since the first school was founded in 1610. Following on from that long established tradition we are very fortunate nowadays to have excellent schools:

All schools pride themselves on their close links with their local community, and encourage their children to contribute to community events, charitable fund-raising, caring for their neighbours and taking part in school events within our town and around Milton Keynes.

They belong to a wider group, the Radcliffe Community of schools, which works together to provide excellent educational opportunities for every child.

Pupils leaving the middle schools usually then transfer to The Radcliffe Comprehensive School.

Every school teaches children according to the National Curriculum, however each school has its own character and traditions.

If you have a child approaching school age, you will be welcomed by the local schools and invited to look around.
