The Stonedean Practice

The Stonedean Practice founded in 1988 is committed to providing the full range of personal medical services under the NHS to the communities of Stony Stratford, Old Stratford and Deanshanger - and surrounding areas.

The Practice operates from two surgeries with its main premises at Stony Stratford Health Centre, and outlying consultation facilities at Deanshanger Community Hall.

At the base in Stony Stratford, in addition to the doctors, nurses, health visitors, midwives and admin team, there is access to a fully computerised records system, x-ray, physiotherapy and chiropody services.

The practice provides full maternity care, contraceptive services, child health surveillance, child immunisations and range of minor surgery, mostly within normal surgery hours.  Nursing services cover health checks, holiday immunisations, obesity monitoring, pregnancy testing and family planning advice.
